1) FORECAST PERIOD: 28-30 / 6 /2008

GREECE will be on a relative fresh side, with a moderate to fresh north-easterly wind for most eastern parts, perhaps strong and gusting to gale force around the central and southern Greek islands.Highest temperatures will vary between 29°C in the Aegean islands and 31°C in the North and 33°C in the western to 36°C in the south-western parts of the country. Otherwise generally fine and bright days. Some afternoon local thunder clouds are likely to develop across the mountainous central and northern parts of Greece but prolonged sunny spells will dominate in the country.

GREECE will get a bit cooler except southeastern and Ionian Islands, with a moderate to fresh north-easterly wind for most eastern parts. Rain and thunder showers may affect the northern and eastern Greek mainland as well as central and western Macedonia during the first couple of days of the given period. Otherwise generally fine and bright days.Highest temperatures will vary between 28- 32°C in the Greek mainland to 27-29°C in the south-eastern parts of the country.

3) FORECAST PERIOD: 5-10 / 7 /2008

GREECE: A shallow low in the central parts of Europe will probably move southwards during the second half of the given period and may give showers and thunderstorms in the western, central and northern parts of Greece but longer sunny intervals in the South. Feeling cool in northern mountainous Greece with highest temperatures around 25°C to 29°C but warmer elsewhere on 29°C to 33°C. Fresh winds only in the Aegean region.

4) FORECAST PERIOD: 10-14 / 7 /2008

GREECE: Shallow lows will continue to affect especially the western, central and northern part of Greece giving lots of clouds and humid weather with afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Highest temperatures around 25°C to 30°C in the North much warmer elsewhere.

5) FORECAST PERIOD: 15-20 / 7 /2008

GREECE: In northern and central parts of Greece the weather might probably remain unsettled in the beginning of the given period whereas longer sunny intervals, especially in the South, are expected. TemperatureS will remain more or less the same as during the previous five days rising slightly during the end of the given period.
